Tenerife - April 2008

We took a 2 week cheap and cheerful holiday to Tenerife in April - and ended up pleasantly surprised !

Easter Holiday - Spain 2008

We spent from the 15th - 29th March in Spain, close to Denia - about an hour from Alicante.  The weather was warm, sky usually blue but it was still not warm enough to get into the pool!

Mexico City apartment - January 2008

At last the issues with building regs etc seem to have been sorted out and we have access again.  These pictures were taken the end of January 2008 by Kevin.  No electricity at the time but at least he was in the apartment !  The general areas of the building are now being done so all being well the lifts will start working soon - no more walking up 6 flights of stairs!!

Finally - my leaving pressies from Greengates in place at the apartment.  Thanks to Mark and Hang for storing them in the mean time.  If you look closely in the previous picture you can just see them on the right on the door.

Christmas 2007

A quiet one spent in Mexico, we made our own paper Christmas hats, decorated the fake plant in the house but did find cranberry sauce!

Canada - October 2007

Canada followed Switzerland! We spent almost 3 weeks travelling around Ontario and a very little trip into Québec.

We started in Toronto, then onto the Algonquin Park.

 

After that we travelled to Ottawa, staying with friends - Hugh, Laurel, Fiona and Evan.  

One weekend we went to my favourite place in the whole world – Bill’s cottage.

 

Then we had a quick trip into Montreal.  I always forget how much I like that city!

Then back to Ottawa and pumpkin carving!

Finally, we travelled down Lake Ontario to Kingston, watching Evan play hockey, then onto Cobourg to stay with friends we met in Mexico – Toly, Alison, Lexie and Katrina.  Katrina was in my class last year.
